Bridgeport understands and appreciates your concern for long-term quality. We demand a consistently high standard of quality from ouselves and the subcontractors. We plan and expect quality; it is not an unintended by-product of our efforts.
A meaningful quality assurance program must begin with a clear definition of objectives. We will work directly with our Client's architect to develop program standards. Image, maintenance, durability, workmanship, and appearance are balanced against cost effectivness, available labor resources, and material compatibility, among other factors. Once the project's specific objectives are agreed upon, it is our responsibility to see that a concise approach is planned and documented to achieve the desired results. This process requires a team commitment. Constant monitoring occurs throughout the planning, design, construction and activation phases to ensure the owner's objectives are achieved.
The responsibility for quality control lies with the Bridgeport project manager, with support from the project superintendent. The following quality control procedure is recommended during construction.
